By using spades.live you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
The service
spades.live lets you play card games — Spades, Bid Whist, Hearts, Tunk and Crazy Eights — with other people over live video in your web browser. The service is free and provided “as is”. We may change, pause or discontinue it at any time.
No gambling
spades.live is for social play only. There is no real-money wagering, no prizes and nothing of monetary value to win or lose. Points have no cash value. Don’t use the site to organize or settle bets.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. Public tables involve live video with strangers and are meant for adults.
How to behave
- No harassment, hate speech, threats or sexual content, on camera, on the microphone or in chat.
- No nudity or sexual content on camera.
- No cheating or collusion, such as sharing cards with another player at the table.
- No spam, advertising or attempts to disrupt or attack the service.
- Respect other people’s privacy. Don’t record or share other players’ video without their consent.
Hosts and players can remove or report people. We may remove anyone from a table, and block access from IP addresses, for breaking these rules.
Your content
You’re responsible for what you say and show at a table. We don’t record video or audio. Chat is kept only as described in our privacy policy.
Disclaimers
We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that video will work on every network. To the fullest extent the law allows, spades.live isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new terms.
